Martin Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma CountyMartin 2005 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County

Our third Estate Cabernet Sauvignon from Dry Creek Valley is redolent with aromas and flavors of blackberry, juicy red cherry, and fresh toasty oak. This hillside vineyard is maturing nicely and produces fruit leading to a full-bodied, well-balanced wine that has a thick textured palate that echoes fresh fruit flavors. Velvety firm tannins lead to a long, alluring finish. This is truly a lovely wine that will age very well in cellar or is very drinkable now.

Martin Estate Syrah, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma CountyMartin 2004 Estate Syrah, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County

Fragrant blackberry, wild cherry, sweet spice, vanilla, and mocha impressions permeate the nose, palate, and finish in this wine. A youngin' with some fine-textured tannins, it has the balance to pair well with a steak au poivre now, but will mature gracefully into a grand accompaniment to that leg of lamb in a few years.
